Audi makes many powerful EV vehicles like the R8 e-tron. These are more performance based vehicles, built for the track and open road. You might be thinking, what about drivers in urban spaces, like the ones that take frequent short trips around the greater St. Paul and Minneapolis areas? Currently there have been some internal discussions for producing a new urban EV for the Audi brand.

The rumored model doesn't have a name yet, but it would use the VW up! platform if it made its way to production. This vehicle could join the new Audi lineup as soon as 2014, we believe it will make its debut in the European market. Rumors have it that the concept will be unveiled at the Frankfort Motor Show this September, it will come with the brands signature grille along with much more.

This vehicle is expected to be packed with power getting up to 115 horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque. The lithium battery pack will give the new Audi a range of 125 miles.
